Had I not so desperately wanted to find a new alternative to cross training, I don’t know that I would have necessarily woken up early on a Sunday morning to kayak the Chicago river. However, the dire need to do anything but run led us both to strap on our sea legs, and see the city from a perspective we
otherwise may not have.
A big thank you to Lauren for being such a great sport (she still chose to kayak the morning after her elevator doors closed on her hand!). All in all, it was a beautiful morning, a great time, spent with fantastic company. We definitely worked up an appetite for Sunday football and all that goes with it!
